The surface roughness can be ordered within range of 5nm to several 10nm.
Super Hard Film Coating
By coating a tool with super hard film (hard amorphous carbon film), its anti-friction and wear-resistance properties improve considerably, leading to its longer operational life.
Adding this film on a surface machined with Super Precision Grinding technology extends the life of a mold/die by several orders and the life of a stamper by several ten's orders.
Super Fine Groove

With super precision machining technology, Maxell Finetech provides various services making fine grooves with optical function. V-concave, round, V-convex, trapezoidal, rectangular and various other profiles and incrementally variable angled rows are available. After precision cleaning and accurate measurement, they are delivered fixed in special case with measurement data enclosed.
